Boutique gourmet travel experience brings together culture and cuisine in-language for the discerning traveler

DOYLESTOWN, PA, Nov. 14, 2018 /CNW/ – Goût et Voyage, a company creating lasting memories through French and Italian gourmet travel adventures, today announced that it will offer French in-language tours starting in June 2019. In response to popular demand to engage with the culture, people and cuisine of Provence in the native language, Goût et Voyage has developed a first-in-class immersion experience – called Taste of Provence, en français – for clients.

Capitalizing on the success of the current tours, Taste of Provence and Taste of Tuscany & Umbria, Goût et Voyage founder Martine Bertin-Peterson saw the need to offer a deeper experience for some clients.

“Many of my clients are Francophiles with high school and/or college level French conversational skills,” said Martine Bertin-Peterson, founder of Goût et Voyage. “However, in recent years, I’ve had more and more guests wanting to converse with me and with those we encounter on the tour in French. Many want to use the trip to strengthen fluency and to experience the richness of the region in a different way. Taste of Provence, en français provides a fun and authentic immersion alternative to the traditional classroom experience.”

Taste of Provence, en français will follow a similar itinerary and feature the same popular activities as the existing trips, including cooking classes, winery visits, historic walks, market trips, hill town excursions and gourmet meals, but will be conducted entirely in French. Led by Bertin-Peterson, a native and fluent speaker, guests will communicate only in French for the duration of the eight-day/seven-night program.

Ideal for those travelers with an intermediate level of French language or higher, Taste of Provence, en français will be offered June 11 – June 18, 2019. Additional dates may be added based upon interest. The “traditional” Taste of Provence and Taste of Tuscany & Umbria trips will continue to be offered. Each Goût et Voyage travel experience is all-inclusive (from the France/Italy pick-up point) limited to six guests per trip, and attracts travelers from around the world. Groups of five or more may also request specific dates for private tours.
